The man I married.........

So isn't it during rough times that you are reminded of all your blessings and of how great life really is??!! Well life is good. And nothing is better than spending it with the one you love. Our first anniversary is Tuesday and I could not be more thrilled... Just thinking back at the last crazy year makes me excited for year number two. With thoughts of careers, moving, home buying, and maybe even family expanding, the stress level is high. There is no one else I would rather endure it with than my Scott! He truely has provided me with the best life I could imagine and I only wish to make it up to him everyday of our eternal lives. I decided to devote this blog to him, and to our marriage. The semester starts in about four hours, so if i dont write now, It'll probably never happen.
I LOVE YOU SCOTT..... Here are just a few of the reasons why.....
10. He is so quiet when I am sleeping after a long night if work- even when he is bored or horny!
9. He eats whatever I cook.... even when I won't eat it.
8. He goes to a job 5 days a week, no matter how miserable it can be.
7.He is full of surprises..... like he washed my filthy filthy car saturday while I was sleeping.
6. The random "I love you" and "I miss you" texts I get throughout the day.
5. I can trust him on anything.. You don't always appreciate the luxury of an honest husband until you don't have one.
4. 3. He lets me win arguments.... sometimes

3. He takes care of me... when I am upset or sick, he listens to me and makes it all better.
2. He knows me. Very well too. AND he still loves me.
1. He is very good looking... hmm hmm. nuff said.

Well hopefully we'll be blogging soon about our temple sealing... anyday now!

BIRTHDAY BOYS

It's birthday time for the Hatch boy's. Jon turned 26 (holy cow!) August 5th, and Jeremy advanced to a new, hopefully more mature stage of life, 18 years old on July 27th. They are some pretty awesome boys. Both are workaholics who love their families. Jon likes to spend time with his girls and in the outdoors (when he's not working). No one really knows what Jeremy does with his spare time...hanging with the ladies??

Sorry I wasn't able to see you guys on your birthdays!! Thanks for being the best brothers a sister could ask for.... not very often does a girl get a hug and an "Love ya sis" from her brothers whenever I see them. Even though it is almost always followed by a wet-willy!!
Love ya guys... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Jon being an awesome Dad

Jeremy in Hawaii... trying to be a bad a**

Our Visit to Lehi

We spent almost an entire week in Lehi last month!! It was definately overdue. I missed my family so so much. Scott was awesome and took three days off work so we could go to the Colonal's picnic!!(which is always poorly scheduled on a wednesday!) We also spent a whole day at Lagoon, which was a blast, and it was darn hot! We took my little sis Jayme and one of her gal pals. The rest of the week we just shopped with mom, and played with my nieces Ady and Hanna (they are getting so big!!) It might be a while before we get back up there, so I'm glad we were able to spend so much time with them while we could. School starts in almost 2 weeks so our visiting time is going to be extremely limited.

Also.... last week, Mom and Jayme drove to Cedar to visit ME!! Of course they had to come check out the new apartment!! It was so great to have them here, those Hatch girls are the best!! Too bad Nikki wasnt able to come play and shop... maybe next time.

My cute family at the summer picnic!!

Married Six Months

Yep, we had our six month anniversary on Sunday... can't believe we're already half way through our first year, but at the same time it feels like its been longer!! Of course I got stuck working on the holiday weekend, but I came home at 6 am to a beautiful vase of roses Scott had for me on our kitchen table!! (kinda a big deal!!) He's pretty awesome!! He had Friday off, so we celebrated the Fourth and our anniversay by spending the day at Sand Hollow.... It was about a hundred degrees, and now we're fried!! I really love our visits to St. George, nothing better than the sun, the mall, and ice cream.... oh and spending time with my Scott.

Of course I have no pictures of our visit to the lake. After the Red Cliffs incident, Scott doesnt let me bring my phone or camera near any lakes, rivers, swimming pools, or even in the bathroom!!!

MOAB 2009

Scott and I spent a couple days in Moab last week. It was a sunny/rainy blast!! We went with a large group from BYU that goes every year called the "Mass Moab Trip". We were amongst probably 200 BYU campers... you know what a huge BYU fan Scott is!! I went last year, but this was Scott first trip to Moab. It was a lot of fun showing him all there is to see in beautiful Moab. We spent one day rafting down the Colorado River, which turned out to be the only day we saw no rain!! We both came home with terrible sun burns on our shins.... who would've thought to put sunscreen there!!! It was fun , we like to believe we were the fastest kayak in the group! After three days of hiking, we barely caught a glimpse of what Moab has to offer, maybe we'll have to go back next year!!

WE"RE FINALLY MOVING

So we finally found a new apartment and we're moving, NEXT WEEK!!!! We're so excited. It is on the entire other side of town, right behind the hospital. Wich means I get to walk to work, and its super close to Scott's work too! It is way nicer than our place right now, and better neighbors too. We just cannot handle another day of our trumpet playing, music blasting, smoking, drug dealing neighbors.... no offense. I will try to post some cute pics when we are all moved in.

Scott Graduated!!

YAY!! Scott graduated on Saturday from SUU! He received both his MAcc and MBA. We got up early Saturday morning to go to the commencement where President Monson spoke. Quickly after, we went to the ceremony where he received his diplomas and was hooded by his dad! He's a smart boy (obviously!), and is so excited to be done and move on to the next step.

He looked so cute in his cap and gown! Congratulations honey!!
