Hunter is Half a Year
He is 6 months old and so much fun!
We have been in Utah for 1 week and close on both our homes next week! I started my new job this week, Scott is in Houston packing up the house and Hunter is in Oregon visiting cousins. Life is crazy! But it is so fun! I fly back to Texas in a couple days to help Scott load up the truck and then we leave for good! Hunter will be in Oregon til Saturday, he is having so much fun spending time with his cousins! He is getting so big! Almost crawling!! Scooting and babbling! We love our Lil Hunt!

... SOLD!
Yes we sold our home!! Only on the market for a week, and the first person that walked in bought it! We couldnt be more blessed! Scott spent Memorial Day Weekend in SLC looking for a home and the stress of selling our home in time was really weighing us down. But Memorial Day Monday we got the email, the offer was good and we accepted. And than the next day Scott put an offer on our new home! We are so excited and relieved that we have somewhere to go! But now all the stress begins! I have accepted a job at a Coronary ICU in Murray and they want me to start July 1st. So Hunter and I will be making the drive up there in just a couple weeks! Scott will be back and forth a couple more times as we close on our Texas home and close on our Utah home all in the same week!
We were planning on buying a home in South Salt Lake somewhere, but with the crazy market this summer there is nothing avaliable. Scott looked everywhere and couldnt find anything he liked. So the house we are buying is right in good ol' Lehi. I never thought I'd be moving back to my home town but I couldnt be more excited. I even think Scott is a little excited too :) Hunter will have his cousins and grandparents so close! And Scott's family is only a few hours away as well! It is kind of sureal to think we are going to be so close to family, we always talk about how nice it'd be to be able to do little things together and now we finally can :)
Well so busy couple months a head of us.... Better get packing!

Surprise!!
Three years in the LoneStar State and it's officail, we are moving back to Utah! Scott got a transfer approved to work in the Salt Lake office!! We are so excited, live close to family, close to the mountains, no more humitity and the list goes on and on! The sign went up on Wednesday, its so crazy to think we will soon be leaving Texas forever! But there are things I am going to miss... I will post later! And I am going to have to get a job that probably won't be as cool as my job now, but it is Utah! It will all be worth it! So lets hope this house sells and we we can be out of here before the Summer really heats up!!

The Little Man's Sleep Place
Yes the nursery is finally done.. I think... for now at least!! okay so its still missing a few things, like curtains and a crib skirt, no big deal. But I finally like the way it looks so for now it is done :) Scott made the dresser with his bare hands!! Yes he is that talented. It was just what I wanted; a dresser with drawers and shelves for books. My mom made the bumper, I just love love the fabric!! Think I'll make curtains out of it... one day! And we got the cute picture while we were in Hawaii and it just tied the whole thing togther. Now the little stinker just needs to sleep in it!

Hunter's Blessing
Hunter was blessed by his da on April 6th, 2013. We had him blessed while we were in Hawaii so we could have my family there. Nothing better than watching the sunset over the ocean right before your husband blesses your baby boy! Scott did such a good job, and Hunter looked so cute in his white outfit. We are so blessed to have a home where dad has the preistood and was able to give Hunter that special blessing. The only thing that could have made the day more prefect was if Scott family was there, but with us living in Houston this was our best option. We chose April 6th because that is the day ( 3years ago) that Scott and I were sealed in the Draper Temple.
Aloha!!
Yes we took a three month old to Hawaii!!! You'd think we were crazy, but we had grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins to help us out. For Christmas my parents took the entire family to Oahu for 2 weeks! It was so awesome to hang out with the family and rest, shop, swim and play!! Hunter was able to meet the whole family! And he loved every minute of it! Scott had us hiking every mountain on the whole island! We were able to see Pearl Harbor, shop at the International Market, and snorkle Haunama Bay. The best part was just being with the family. We love them so so much and wish we lived closer so Hunter could see all his grandparents and cousins more often.

Welcome Little Hunt!
He finally arrived! Hunter Scott Christensen, born January 3, 2013 at 7:49 pm, weighing 7 lbs 11 ounces, and 19.5 inches long.
We tried so hard to have a New Years baby, but little Hunt just wasn't budging. So the Doc agreed to induce at 39 weeks. We got to the hospital around 10:30 in the morning (when they finally had time for us) and started up on the pitosin right away. I had been contracting all morning so I was ready for the epidural as soon as possible! After that is was smooth sailing til about 4:30 pm when we started pushing. THREE HOURS LATER... at 7:49 our Little Hunt arrived. He was perfect. Ten fingers and Ten toes. Scott and I were exhausted! I've never seen a husband help so much during childbirth as Scott did. He was an awesome coach, traumatized, but awesome.
Two days later, on our 4 year anniversary (Jan 5th) we brought our little bundle of joy home. He has been such a blessing in ourhome, bringing out the best and worst in us but bringing Scott and I closer together. We have had to work as a team, taking turns rocking him at night, and taking turns sleeping!! But we love every minute of it!
